by WakuWaku

Tutorial for the WakuWaku Java Fireworks Applet

You need browser equipping Java.

Right click on the picture for a spectacular finale.
Left click to pause at any time.

We've all seen fireworks and fireworks applets, but have you ever wanted to be able to customize your fireworks for your visitors and give them a spectacular finale? This tutorial will show you have to use the Waku Waku Fireworks applet.

This fireworks applet is highly user configurable, meaning you can customize it to your liking with the number of fireworks and explosions, the message you see displayed, numbers of balls per shot, number of shots, and the length of time it runs. It can also be used with sound or without. For the purpose of this tutorial I have it displayed without sound. Click *here* to view the applet with sound. The applet will open in a new window, you may simply close the window to return here.

For the tutorial you will need a good picture, a photograph such as you see above. A night skyline works well, or any other picture you'd like to use with a dark background. If you don't have a picture you'd like to use, a good place for free stock photography is Stock Xchange here. Please respect the rules each photographer asks for use of their photography. You must sign up to use the pictures, sign up is free and there are LOTS of pictures available. Resize the picture to your liking in your favorite graphics program. Don't make your picture too big, as this not only slows down the applet, but also increases the time it takes for your picture to show. If you want a frame around yur picutre, add it when resizing and working with your picture to use. For usage of other photography shown on this website, purchase information and licensure for usage is available from bigbaer@bigbaer.com For questions or comments regarding the tutorial, or problems you may be having with it, please email me here:intimatexpressiongifts/fireworks tutorial

You will also need the fireworks applet, which you can download here. There is a nice picture included in the applet download zip file, which you can also use.

On to the tutorial and the fireworks show!
