Open your image in Paint Shop as before. Select the "lasso" tool from the menu, settings as follows:

As before, start at the left edge of your picture following the outline of the shore, left clicking each time you need to change direction until you reach your starting point again. Double click to set the outline. You should see a dotted outline around your lake, as in figure one seen here.
Go to "Windows" and select "duplicate". Duplicate your picture 3 to 4 times. Minimize each one so that only the one you started with is active (visible). Again go to your "Effects" Menu, scroll down to "Geometeric", and select "Wave". Set your settings as follows:

Then click "okay". Left double click and your lines should disappear.
Go to Layers at the top menu bar. Select "Promote to Layer", then "Layers" again and click on "merge all". Minimize this picture.
Activate your next image. Go to effects, and again select "Geommetric" and then "wave". Only this time change your settings as follows:
Horizontal displacement:
Amplitude- remains the same. Set at 1 or 2, (personally I prefer 1, a nicer smoother effect)
Wavelength- set at 22
Vertical Displacement:
Amplitude and wavelength both remain set at 0 and 1. You will not change these settings, only the Horizontal Wavelength setting will be changed with each image. I increase it by 2 each time. starting with 20, then 22 and so on. Be sure to remember to left double click on each image after adding your wave effect, then promoting to layer and merging all.
Do this for all remaining images, increasing the horizontal wavelength 2 each time.
Now, one at a time, SAVE your images as "waterfall 1.psp" or whatever you want to call your image. I minimze mine after saving so if after animating I want to make changes I can.
Now time to animate our image in Animation Shop. Click here to go to part 2 to animate your lake.
